Who doesn't love to see some HDR photos, this effect that brings such a new life into a photo, continuing with this beautiful series I bring another set of great HDR photos to satisfy your needs of inspiration.
Hello, my name is Paulo Canabarro aka paul0v2, a student and graphic artist that kinda like writing for cool blogs like this . For more posts from me and inspiration stuff you can Follow me on twitter!
These are hideous. To answer the above question "Who doesn't like HDR?", add my name to the list. If you spot an inspiring cityscape or landscape, take a great shot of it and lay off on the Photoshop. Let your artistic and technical talent work for you, don't feed something mindlessly through a process to make it "shine". Cuz it don't, at least in the above cases. Unfortunately taste cannot be taught or bought, otherwise I would sell you some.

I'm sorry but I disagree with most of the comments here. Art is art whether to your taste or not and ALL of these pictures are great! Congrats to the artists and keep up the great work...

I seriously expect a lot more from this blog. HDR posts seem more like filler posts. On top of that, some of these are really poorly done, not to mention that the whole "HDR" thing has become a trend that just about anyone with a Camera and Photomatix can do.
I do like a little HDR but that "little" is the important word! Many of the images above are way overdone and I think I might prefer the original as the composition of all the images is A1. "Less is more" is a useful phrase to keep in mind when working with HDR! Some of these look a little like how I would imagine the bitten from "24 Days Later" to see the world! :-))
Some of these looks very unsharp and way too agressively tone-mapped.
"I'm waiting for a manufacturer to release a cam with a built in HDR setting."
It's not a big deal to make this this kind of pictures. If You have a DSLR you can use bracketing mode to make pictures with different exposures, then use any HDR software to make the image. The only thing you have to do is to find a theme and composition for hdr. A landscape, a car or some other boring stuff. :)
HDR pictures continue to amaze me. I'm waiting for a manufacturer to release a cam with a built in HDR setting. Not exactly sure how that might work...but I'm sure both Nikon and Canon are working hard on it right now.
I've gotta say, some of these look downright horrible, overdone, and completely unnatural. I was actually pretty uncomfortable looking at some of these images. HDR is a fairly useful tool in the photoshop photographers toolkit, but too often, the HDR effect is completely overdone, with the better examples being those where the effect is applied with subtlety. I shouldn't be able to look at a photo and think instantly "that's an HDR", especially where that distracts from the subject of the photo.

The first is beautiful. The rest soooo very ugly. The most are completely overdone. It's not the way I like HDR Pictures to look like.
I think this is an ace HDR: http://www.flickr.com/photos/12528184@N08/2368707347/sizes/o/
