An artwork I did for a friend who run a turkish inspired clubhouse in China. The dancer's anatomy is slightly exaggerated to match the visual style I choose here. Done in Painter IX and PS. Approx: 4.5 hours.

Done for ImagineFX Hand Painting workshop. You can find it in Issue 16 (I also made the cover for that one) :) My goal was to create a bold mood without adding too much unnecessary detail. Painted in Photoshop with some help from Painter. Refs for the pendant and marble (you can see it as a custom brush used for the face marks); light and anatomy studies for the character. Linen done with a custom made brush consisting of a few lines.

I would like to create an image using rock as theme... I tried to do something sexy and powered... I used Painter X and Photoshop CS.

Hmm... from this submission onwards, I will be posting a series of artworks from my "Pepper Project". It is a self initiated project for personal exploration of different styles and illustration techniques. And of cos...the common element for this project is a female character named Pepper, who also double up as a friendly mascot of my design agency. :) This piece is done solely in Freehand 9. It is pretty challengin to me but I had lotsa fun with the vector blending stuffs.

Another book cover I did for Fabryka Slow. Drawing against artistic block is never fun yet - you have job to do. And that's the story with that picture. I did like 6 different versions and still I'm not completely happy about it, but I had to finish it due to deadline. Few photo mix used in texturing background and flame effect.

This character is a warrior in front of her portal... She is beautiful and young...her magical is in her stick. I created this image using Photoshop CS and Painter IX.

I usually have one song that I listen the most during picture painting and I though its kinda cool to mention it as in my head its completing the image.

I felt a little retro so I did this manga piece for ImagineFX #29 Q&A panel. Don't hurt me to bad - its been a while since I did something Japanese ;] About 4h in photoshop.
