In this tutorial, we will be working to create an interesting Poster-size illustration with floral elements. This tutorial is inspired by a suggestion from Zach on our Tutorials Suggestions/Request page. He wanted to know how one would create a design like the floral element in the Version App header. I've taken a look at that, added a few of my own ideas, and run with it to create a cool poster design.

The first part of the set contains 25 scalable Illustrator format icons. I hope you like them =) There will be more coming.

I researched through almost 250 pages of Graffiti Art (mostly from Flickr) & (Vi.sualize.us) and chose the top 20 personal favorites. I also included some great links at the bottom in case this post wasn’t juicy enough for you and left you wanting more. “Graffiti is the name for images or lettering scratched, scrawled, painted or marked in any manner on property. Graffiti is sometimes regarded as a form of art and other times regarded as unsightly damage or unwanted. Some people think of it as art, others vandalism, and others, a culture of its own.” I have respectively linked to the page or photographer that took the images, but was extremely difficult to find out the original artists.

It’s done! Conglomerfont is a free font created by myself and the design community from all over the world, on nearly every continent via email. I asked people to send individual letters to my inbox, and I coagulated the submissions into a single font, hence the name, Conglomerfont. Below you’ll find a list of all of the contributors, and a link to their websites. Thanks to everyone who participated, and if you didn’t get into the font this time around, don’t worry, I plan on doing another conglomerfont in the future.

I have a great interest in illustration and I am always looking for inspiration and new ideas and techniques that I could try and integrate in to my designs, looking at some of these illustrations you can see what makes them, whether it be blurring shapes, adding a light source or using photos in your illustrations it all has an effect on the final piece. This collection is mixture of more traditional illustration to photography and illustration, when I look at illustrations like this I always think about how there made, such as paint splatters did the designer take a can of spray scan it in and manipulate it, stuff like that can add a whole new dimension to the illustration.

This file contains 35 icons that are associated with hot springs in Japan. If you haven’t stayed in a Japanese-style inn, you may be unfamiliar with these designs, but they’re familiar to Japanese. Elaborate, detailed, unique icons drawn in 128?128-pixel format will make your desktop delightful.

Yes, it’s Milky, our simple, clean and lovely vector icon set. It is sadly announced that now Milky has come to an end, completing virtually 4 months of its up and running for free, with 9 separate parts and receiving around more than 200 comments, feedback and appreciations. All feedbacks and requests from our users and readers have had a weighty effect on the development of the Milky set. Thank you all for your time and care! Once again, we are very sorry that the set is now ended. However, Milky was added with extra 11 icons timely before its end-of-life announcement.
