How To Design An Abstract Flower Fleuron Text Effect

First of all, you'll need to download a brush and a .jpg pattern for this tutorial. I can provide both here and here, but if you prefer something different, feel free to use those instead. With the Photoshop abstract brushes and flower pattern, we'll be creating a unique fleuron text effect. In the first example, we'll be using the pattern and adding gradient colours, but in the second example we'll just be creating an embossed effect - both examples are extremely flexible, so don't forget to show us what you've created so that we can compare.
