Fantastic Mountain Landscape
Step 11. Oh, no, it isn’t its place for sure. We will carry it behind the bigger planet, to the overhead right corner. Yes, there it looks much better.

Step 12. We will add a few stars. You can draw them, it’s simple, and can use difficult brushes, but it is better do it on a separate layer. So, at least, it will be not difficult to correct one or another star.

Step 13. We choose Dodge Tool (Range- Midtones, Exposure-50%), and will light up sky near mountains. It will give the impression, that there, after horizon, it is dawning, that time goes, and it will give to the collage life.

Step 14. Using Smudge Tool, we will spread a cloud. We will make it softer.

Step 15. One more planet can enter in empty part of sky. We find a suitable one and insert it with a separate layer.

Step 16. We change Blending Mode to Screen.

Step 17. For the last touch we must save our collage in the format of jpg and open it Photoshop. In the menu of Image – Adjustments – Color Balance we put tuning as on pictures:

That is all. I hope, the result impressed you, and you learned something new. So, make your own experiments!

This is a nice tutorial that shows us how we can create imaginary scapes. The only comment I really have on this is, that our moon has no clouds, so it could never be our moon ! It’s a nice tut indeed!
it is a very nice but if you can explin it more clearly
it will easy to understand easily to feresher
It’s a nice tut. But please look a bit more on the lights, shadows and their directions. For example, the big planet in the back is brighter in the top right side, so the light comes from top right. But in contrary on the planet in front the light shines from the right bottom… At last, the direction of the light on the matterhorn doesn’t match neither with the two others.
1 thing i would say in responce to the first comment .. if he had the moon that close to us the gravatainal force would cause all the tide to go massivly out and in the other side of the world all this extra water would drown most of the people beaucse all of the billions of leters of water suddenly rushing to one side of the plannet not to mention the effect it would have on the earths orbit… and yes that picutre is quite true… “FACT” the earth has two moons.. but the second moon only orbits the earth once every 740 years … so unluickly you will see it
nice tut tho simple and effective

That’s and amazing tutorial, I added it to my directory.
It would be so weird to have our moon that close.
